  Famous Holidays Carnivals People around the country cannot miss one of the most famous celebrations that is celebrated for 4 days in almost every part of the country. Celebration recognized fot its parades, street parties, etc. Festival del Torito Guapo Most outstanding festivity in the interior of the country, which celebrates in its maximun splendor the folkloric traditions. It is celebrated in the district of  Anton as a tourist destination. It takes place during 3 days in the middle of October with various contests and local activities. Patronales del Cristo de Esquipulas de Antón Most influential celebration in Cocle, Province of Panama, which celebrates the feast of the Holy Christ of Esquipulas. It begins on January 6 and culminates on January 15 with the procession through the streets of the town of Anton.
